David Herzer – Avon Business Lawyer

A founding member of Wickens Herzer Panza, Mr. Herzer has brought function, spirit, integrity, and commitment to this Firm. Once the Firm’s President and CEO (1971-2011), a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and the Chairperson of the Corporate and Business Transactions Department, Dave has since stepped down from his management responsibilities to focus exclusively on client legal matters.

Mr. Herzer provides counsel to attorneys and clients of the Firm in all areas of corporate law and business tax law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning. Mr. Herzer serves on the boards of several area corporations and civic organizations. He is highly regarded in Lorain County and surrounding communities: Inside Business magazine recognized Mr. Herzer as a Leading Lawyer for 2008, and Leadership Lorain County recognized him for his outstanding service and volunteerism as an honoree for the 2009 Award for Excellence in Leadership.
