John Dumont- Newtown Business Lawyer

Mr. Dumont concentrates his practice in the representation of closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations. He has advised companies on a range of issues including initial formation, raising capital, shareholder relations, the use of equity and debt and regulatory issues facing New Jersey businesses. His experience also encompasses estate planning and a broad range of real estate activities, including acquisition, financing, tax-free exchanges, leasing, use of low-income housing tax credits and the formation of joint ventures, investor-oriented limited partnerships and land use law. Mr. Dumont works closely with various nonprofit organizations that seek to develop and provide affordable housing in New Jersey. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and graduated from University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the New Jersey and American Bar Associations.
